Ha Noi, September 4, 2020 –  Most Vietnamese students are preparing to return to school and start a new school year. On this occasion, UNICEF Vietnam calls on parents and students to share thank you messages on social networks to teachers, who have played an important role in helping students continue learning during school closures due to COVID-19.

This campaign is based on the simple phrase “Thank you teacher,” but conveys a positive and connected message. Let’s all get through this difficult time together and make a strong recovery. This is also an opportunity for parents and students across the country to unite and call for support needed to maintain face-to-face learning, distance learning, work, and school affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

By launching the “Thank you teachers for …” campaign, UNICEF Vietnam congratulates and thanks the Vietnamese teachers who have persevered and made great efforts to overcome the challenges of teaching during the pandemic, to sustain learning training for all Vietnamese children.

Campaign time: Starting from September 5, 2020, right at the official opening of the new school year
