In 2022, Vietnam’s Youth Union is leading the way to smart digital citizenship by organizing large-scale training on the topic of “The role of young people participating in the Community Digital Technology Team and Digital Transformation Communication”. The program is sponsored by Google.org and implemented by Vietnam Youth Union, with support from CFC Vietnam.
The training program is organized into 10 sessions in 10 clusters of the Central Youth Union to Union executives and young people participating in the Community Digital Technology Team in 10,599 communes, wards and towns in 63 provinces and cities in the whole Vietnam, with multiple online sessions Webex and Livestream on fanpage of Digital Youth.
On September 15, 2022, the Central Youth Union organized the training program on this topic for Youth Union executives and young people in the Northern Midlands. This is the 4th training course for 53 district-level units and 873 commune-level units in the 5 provinces of the Northern Midland Midland Group, including: Bac Giang, Bac Ninh, Phu Tho, Quang Ninh and Vinh Phuc.
In parallel to the nationwide training program by Vietnam Youth Union, a contest themed “Be Authentic on the Virtual Network” promoting Smart Digital Citizenship was organized during the summer of 2022, with enthusiastic participation by high school and university students.
